Chicken Update

Ma'my and Buckwheat were picked on by the sweet little banny chick gang and had to be moved. Bedste now has all three of the HUGE big blue totes in dining room filled with chickens.  New feathers are coming in on all the chicks.  Not only are Buckwheat and Ma'my the shortest chickens in the crowd, they are also the new kids in the totes, AND their new feathers look funny and are awful tempting.  This may be why they were picked on (according to feed store chicken expert).  Banny gang actually drew blood on the newbies and we ain't havin none of that crapola in this house.  I had to rinse them off, paper towel them and neosporin their bo-bos. GOOD GRIEF!

On the outside in the coop, there was an entirely different DRAMA going on.  Mr. Man Banny "James" finally got used to huge dominiker hen"Pepper" and allowed her to roam around coop unchallenged for about 5 minutes.  Pepper became relaxed and confident and then attacked Juliet. This made Mr. Man really mad and he whooped her boody good....

So Pepper was then rescued and put in a very small cage and driven back to Hernandyville and put back where she belongs, in the aching wings of a very large beautiful ROOSTER!  Both are very relieved and happy and talking about getting married and starting a family.  Sandy already has a sign up..... "LEAVE EGGS ALONE- LADY IN WAITING" .
